Will Moses, great-grandson of folk artist Grandma Moses, never forgot. Born in the upper Hudson River Valley, not far from Ichabod's haunts, he read Washington Irving's story over and over. It was the Story Will Moses most wanted to tell and paint in this, his first illustrated storybook for young people and their families.
This book is, of course, based on the original story by Washington Irving. While Irving's original tale is wonderful, it is not something children are likely to read. This version, rewritten and illustrated by Will Moses is in fact a children's book, although, adults seem to be enjoying it equally well. It is profusely illustrated with over 50 original color illustrations each especially created for this story. Hardcover.
The hard cover, 11 1 / 2 " x 9" book runs 48 pages in length.
